where you can socialize your puppy for
free. We agree with Leerburg, however,
concerning dog parks, as some people who (above) Zieka, owned by Sam and Michelle Schafer, now
take their dogs there do not understand the residing in Germany.

on vacation or are in the process of moving, etc, for up to two weeks.

10. A discount is now given to persons who want a pet only, and therefore receive a restricted
registration for a dog that will be neutered or spayed, and will not be a breeder.
11. If for any reason you are unable to keep a dog you purchased from Worthy Kennels, please contact us
and we will do everything humanly possible to help your family and your family member-dog through
this difficult period. We understand that sometimes very hard choices must be made through no fault
of your own or your dog's.
We will take the dog back and find it a good home. If the dog has marketable value (well behaved
housebroken protective companion, started in Schutzhund, obedience, SAR, etc), we will sell the dog to a
good home for you after conferring with you concerning your dog. We will place the dog free of charge on
our website, in free online ads, and in ads which we may have already paid for, but will not cost us
additional expense. If you want the dog advertised in other forums, we will do that for you if you pay the
expense. We will keep 25% of the resale value for our time and services, and send you, the owner, 75%
of the sales price. If additional expenses and services are incurred, such as retraining the dog over a
period of for more than two weeks, then we will have to discuss those issues/values as they occur.
If the dog has no marketable value, or your are opposed to selling it, then we will take the dog and find a
good home free of charge to you.
Even when our puppies go to a new home far away from Worthy Kennels, they are still
our kiddos forever.
We feed our dogs a premium dog food: a tried and tested dog musher's preferred kibble called National
Dog Food or Red Paw dog food, raw meat, and bones. We purchase the bulk "musher's meat" in 50 pound
units for our dogs. We give them turkey legs for variety and large raw bones for entertainment and oral
health. We believe that high quality foods, happiness, and quality of life are important for the health of our
dogs.
Our preference is to have you come see our dogs and facilities for yourself and so we can discuss what
you are searching for in a working-bred German Shepherd.
We attempt to breed only the best dogs and bloodlines intended to benefit you and our world.

We breed working-bred German Shepherd Dogs either from dogs we have imported from Europe, or are
bred from European imports, Some people are not aware of how much energy, drive, and intelligence
one of these dogs possesses. Depending on how puppy is raised, he can be either a Hero or a Villein.
If all you want is an undemanding couch potato type of companion dog we would not recommend a
working-bred German Shepherd.
Please let me explain why: European bred German Shepherd working dogs are full of gusto and the drive
to work...if you left your young puppy alone in the house with your cat, you would come home to the
curtains ripped from the rods, the garbage strewn artistically around the house, and the cat cursing you
AND the puppy in five different cat languages.
On the other hand, if you want a puppy that will grow up to be a protective guardian, better than a gun
under your pillow, because the dog cannot be used against you---if you are willing to see she or he gets
the training it needs, take puppy for long walks, teach puppy that the cat is a part of the family and to be
protected also, and spend time being puppy's best friend and pack leader...we have the puppy you need
in your life.
